A Few Words About Us
Our goal is to promote the adoption of homeless animals, educate the public about humane and responsible pet ownership, and reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.
Who are we?
The Greater Charlotte SPCA is an autonomous organization and is not affiliated with or supported by any other SPCAs, including the ASPCA. We are not a government-run organization. The Greater Charlote SPCA is a private, non-profit organization that serves the pets and people of Charlotte, NC and the surrounding counties.
Where is our shelter located?
Greater Charlotte SPCA does not operate a shelter at this time. All animals are housed in foster homes until adopted.
What We Do

Our pets come from high-kill shelters and other rescue situations. We foster and find loving forever homes for them.
Fundraising
We seek to raise funds to support veterinary care through fundraising events, general donations, special donations to support spay/neuter programs, and our special Sick Animal Donation fund.
